Birthday talk (and a giveaway!)

If you like what you see, don't forget to subscribe (or follow on Bloglovin'to receive weekly updates from me about life, love, faith and books. I'd love to connect with you and get to know you. Pull up a chair and follow along!

It's the big 2 and 1 for me next week Tuesday and excited about it. I almost wasn't but then my sister's been saying "You only turn 21 once" all the time and I figured I better bring out the best red wine. Makes me wonder if I'll be 22 twice in this life, you know. Anyway, I'm all for wishlists because you never know who is feeling mighty generous and reads your blog

1. I've been following the author of Gentlewoman on Twitter for a while now and really love the idea behind his latest book. The reviews have been awesome and I'd be delighted to get my hands on it soon

2. I'm an undercover sucker for skater dresses and this red delight I found on ASOS is everything

3. Bizzy (my tattoo artist) told me I would want to come back for more ink after my first. Well, he told no lies.

4. Nude by Rihanna is my favorite scent right now. Totally need to add Rouge by Rihanna to my collection because whoever makes Rihanna's perfumes is a genius

5. It's weird how I do not yet own a single pair of wedges

6. I've been wanting to try anything with Kale or matcha in it. This smoothie by So Fresh wins it.

What's a wishlist without a giveaway?

A sweet reader recommended and sent me the Divergent trilogy about two months ago. I didn't get round to reading it until recently and it's a great lazy Saturday afternoon read. So I'm sharing all three books with one lucky reader on my birthday! Good luck as you enter to win and happy weekend!

  1. Those wedges are adorable! I don't really like platform shoes (I feel like I'm going to tip over) but I love the wedge look.

  2. Now I got to find and try Rihanna's perfumes :)
I also love how wedges look but unfortunately my feet require only totally comfortable footwear :(
btw, is this giveaway international? I'd love to finally read Roth's trilogy :D

Yes it is! And you HAVE to try her scents! My sister would tell everyone who cares to listen that wedges are wayyy more comfortable that any other type of heeled shoes

  5. Yay, that's great! I'll definitely check out her scents next time I'm near some beauty store :)
Well, probably wedges are more comfortable, maybe I just got to try. Although I tend to trip over things even without heels :D
